Hi everyone! A lot has happened here in the past few months. Some good, some bad.
The bad first: I placed Key in a pet home. I gave her a lot of time to hopefully grow out of some things but unfortunately, she just didn't meet my "waterline" of quality in my program. She's still local and doing wonderfully, and getting much more attention and activity than I could ever give her! Draco is likely going to be neutered- he's 7 months old, and has a form of cryptorchidism- it's likely not genetic, a fluke. He had 2 testes present all the way to about 5 months and the short cord of one testicle didn't keep up with his growth and retreated into the inguinal cavity. Ugh. Sad. He's still my mum's dog and I gave her the option of rehoming him, and she declined- he's done her emotional state wonders and I don't blame her for refusing to let him go. I would never take him from her. Good news: Meev's litter is due any day now. She's due Friday, actually. I'm hoping for something to keep. Fingers crossed. Updating my website to view my current program's roster was.. depressing. But onwards and upwards. Bon Clay (Draco's brother) is doing very well, and we will be showing him in specialties and more as he matures. Key leaving means I have space to keep that hopeful pup from my litter. I'm just hoping everything goes well.
